Athletics right-hander underwent succe sful right shoulder arthroscopic surgery today with Dr. Neal ElAttrache in Los Angeles to repair his posterior labrum, per a club announcement relayed by . He spent enough time on optional a signment that hell come up just shy of the three-year mark but will still be eligible for arbitration this winter as a Super Two player, though the As are probably not guaranteed to tender him a contract.
