September Call-Ups: Today is September 1, which means that active rosters have expanded to 28 for the remainder of the regular season. That quality mid-rotation performance has helped the Phillies remain competitive despite a down year from right-hander , who finished fourth in NL Cy Young award voting last year but has posted a lackluster 4.30 ERA in 27 starts this season.
