Well, it is a signing I suppose.Rangers have snapped up Northern Irish starlet Andrew Mitchell on a free transfer after being Bruce Bowen Jersey released by Manchester City. The Gers havent signed a player in two years and with the future of the club up in the air then it is unlikely many signings will follow. Mitchell is 18 years old and can play in midfield or at right back, but is more comfortable in midfield. The youngster joined the Rangers youth side out in Hong Kong as they played in the Hong Kong Soccer 7s and finished runners-up after a defeat to Aston Villa in Quinndary Weatherspoon Jersey the final.Hopes are high over Mitchell after he was named in the U-19 squad for Northern Ireland for the European Championships and he will join the Rangers U-19s for next season with the hope he will break through in the future.Personally, I think it is a positive signing for the club. We need to sign youngsters to allow them to develop at Murray Park as we cannot afford anybody really never mind players in their peak years.
